Silence Echoes

Sometimes the world seems to slow down for an instant. They emerge somewhere between sleep and waking, light and shadow, movement and stillness, often in places where we least expect to find silence. SILENCE ECHOES is a search of these brief moments of suspension. Moments in which space ceases to be merely a backdrop and becomes an experience. It is an attempt to look attentively at places that are constantly changing while remaining seemingly still. The photographs are arranged in pairs, responding to one another through light, form, gesture and reflection, creating relationships that emerge only between them. Here, silence does not signify emptiness. It is a presence, a trace left within space and between images. It lasts only for a moment, yet its echo may resonate long afterwards.
